Submissions now open

Submissions are now accepted exclusively through FilmFreeway All films selected for the festival will receive Official festival laurels. All winners will be invited to the live screening event and awards ceromony. Official Sci-Cine trophies will be presented to the winners.

Winning films will be required to send a physical format copy of the film on DVD, Blu-Ray or USB Flash Drive. HD format is preferred.

The Festival

SCI-CINE is Sci-fi cinema event offering innovative film-makers the chance to have their work seen on the international stage and deliver some of the best new Sci-fi to fans from around the world. A selection of trailers and films will be available to view in our online screening room with the live screenings in October showcasing the best Shorts, Features and Animations in the Sci-fi & Fantasy genres.
This year' Sci-Cine is teaming up with Grindhouse Planet Film Festival with a mega-fest held at The Shed Venue in Leicester.
